The Use of Paper-Based Emulsion in Industrial Radiography,

Abstract

The radiographic characteristics of four types of photographic paper were investigated. It was found that a developer-incorporated printing paper, when exposed in conjunction with a fluorescent salt screen, was capable of giving radiographs of surprisingly high quality when produced at radiation energies not exceeding 200 kV. The economic advantages arising from the use of this type of radiograph in suitable applications are discussed. (Author)
