Computer Evaluation Techniques,

Abstract

Problems associated with the evaluation of performance of air defense system computers are reviewed and the basis for use of digital simulation modeling in the evaluation of this class of computers is established. Decisions associated with the design of a simulation model are discussed and the design of a discrete time simulation model of an air defense computer system is described and analyzed. Specific simulation results show the proposed computer system to be satisfactory. General simulation results show the modeling structure to be well suited to air defense system evaluation. (Author)
