Abstract

The report covers the historical background through the development stage and discusses the achievement up to approximately December 1971. The new design features such as the rotor head, rotor blade, transmission and the Rolls Royce 360 engine are covered in more detail. The functions of the Automatic Flight Control System are also discussed. Flight test progress is also discussed. (Author)
