Microwave Scattering from Underdense and Overdense Turbulent Plasmas.

Abstract

Experimental results of microwave scattering from a turbulent plasma are presented. As electron density is increased beyond the critical value, a transfer from volume to surface scattering is observed. Overdense scattering is characteristic of a cylinder displaying orientation fluctuations. (Author)
