Image-Processing Precision as Affecting Relative Orientation.

Abstract

Formulas which represent errors in relative orientation parameters determined by least squares are presented. The parametric errors are expressed as functions of format size, focal length, percentage of overlap, number of measured images, and the experimental error. The analysis pertains to vertical photography; a numerical example is provided. (Author)
