International Processes Simulation: A Man-Computer Model,

Abstract

The document describes the development of the International Processes Simulation (IPS) from the Inter Nation Simulation (INS). The over-all theoretical position incorporated in the IPS is described, particular attention being given to delineating two model world systems designated 'nation state' and 'international'. Also described are the structural and programmed changes involved in the evolution of IPS, including the increased programmed component and the use of on line computing facilities to make possible operation of the relatively complex IPS model. The mechanics of operating the simulation includes the complex man-machine interface.
