Analyses of Conflict Behaviours in an International Processes Simulation and an International System 1955-60,

Abstract

The paper describes corresponding analyses of conflict behaviours in an international processes simulation and an international system. One section elaborates the research strategy adopted, attention being given to the proposed variables, and the research design. Another reviews those parts of the conflict literature considered relevant to the research purposes, particularly integrative, disfunctional and mixed theories of conflict behaviour. Other sections develop the concept of conflict style and discuss the analytical methods used for the validation studies reported.
