Solving One-Dimensional Problems of Thawing Ground Consolidation, Accounting for Variable Permeability and Compressibility (Reshenie Odnomernoi Zadachi Konsolidachi Konsolidatssi Ottaivayushchikh Gruntov s Uchetom Peremennoi),

Abstract

A calculation of the rate of settling of thawing soils has great practical significance for calculations on the critical deformations of structural foundations being erected on permanently frozen soils. The report discusses a solution to the one-dimensional problem of filtration-type consolidation of thawing ground, with allowance for the variable permeability and compressibility at variation in its porosity and stressed state.
