Shift in Problem Solving

Abstract

A report is made on human problem solving, in which the performance of subjects forced to shift back and forth at 3 minute intervals between two different problems is compared with the performance of other subjects allowed to work uninterruptedly for 30 minute intervals on the same two problems.
