Viscosity and Density of Thallium Sulfide (T12S),

Abstract

The kinematic viscosity of fused thallium sulfide was measured at 460-800 degrees by using the Maier-Shvidkovskii method and the density was determined in a quartz pycnometer. The viscosity and density decrease with an increase in the temperature. These data were used to determine the changes in the close order structure of thallium sulfide due to fusion. The structure does not change significantly. (Author)
