Thermodynamic Analysis of the Chemical Reactions Taking Place during the Growth of Sapphire Whiskers,

Abstract

The article shows that a variation in the free energy over the temperature range of 900-1900 degrees K for reactions whose occurrence is assumed during the growth of sapphire whiskers is calculated by chemical-thermodynamics methods. (Author)
