The Electrical Reactions of the Rat Cochlea in Response to Short Audible Signals (Clicks) (Ob Elektricheskikh Reatsiyakh Ulitki Krys pri Deistvii Korotkikh Zvukovykh Signalov (Shchelchkov)),

Abstract

Data were collected on the electrical reactions of the cochlea of experimental rats to acoustical clicks. The electrical reactions in the rat cochlea differ from the same reaction in cats -- the latent times are greater and the amplitude is less. The amplitude of the second nervous component is high. The auditory system of the rat is thus an inert system. (Author)
