Marine Gravimeter with Automatic Reading (Morskoi Gravimeter s Avtomatizirovannym Otschetom),
Abstract
A schematic diagram of a two-stage gravimeter with an optical-mechanical reading converter is described. A design is given of a Cardan suspension, the use of which makes it possible to install the gravimeter in such a way that its own oscillations do not influence its reading. The article is supplemented with photographs of the automated gravimeter assembly designed for operation on a submarine. (Author)
