Bibliography on the Distribution of Income and Wealth, 1945-1970,

Abstract

The compilation grew out of a request made by a researcher for 'everything on income and wealth distribution and some material on 'proportional pricing'.' Thus, it is a highly selective bibliography heavily weighted in both distribution theory and narrative accounts of the United States experience. It opens with a brief listing of bibliographies and goes on to a section on the behavior of prices and their effect on the distribution of income and wealth. The third section deals with theory and the last with narrative discussions, first of the United States and then the United Kingdom, Asian countries, other countries and international comparisons. Within each section the arrangement is alphabetical, by author. Entry is by title if no author is listed. (Author)
