Middle Course I Cratering Series.
Abstract
During the period August - November 1970, the U.S. Army Engineer Nuclear Cratering Group conducted Project TRINIDAD, an extensive series of 1-ton single-and row-charge cratering experiments near Trinidad, Colorado. As part of Project TRINIDAD the Defense Atomic Support Agency (DASA) sponsored the MIDDLE COURSE series of four surface and two optimum depth cratering experiments. The cratering results of the DASA MIDDLE COURSE series combined with the results of the Project TRINIDAD tests provided the complete cratering curve for sandstone media. (Author)
