A Guide for Developing Questionnaire Items

Abstract

The document presents in brief and readable form a guide for the development of test questions for questionnaire instruments other than achievement testing. The content is restricted to attitude and information type questions, but should help the novice avoid some of the more serious errors that can produce faulty questions, and the inevitable consequence, faulty information.
