Data and Program Considerations for Path Selection in the AMC Mobility Model.

Abstract

Data structures and calculation algorithms are presented which generalize the current path segment specifications in the AMC Mobility Model. Two specific recommendations are made. The first allows possible path segments with legs lateral to the predominant direction of travel while the second shows how the current map grid may be refined without a prohibitive amount of hand labor. The second modification will require the writing of a new program. (Author)
