Circuit Quality Monitor.

Abstract

The purpose of the program is to design, develop, and fabricate two advanced development models of the circuit quality monitor. The monitor is a device which automatically measures and displays the quality of voice bandwidth channels in the U.S. Army tactical toll system. Twelve channels are measured on a non-interfering basis once every fifteen minutes. Three degrees of quality are continuously displayed: usable for data, usable for voice but not high speed data, and unusable. Quality is measured in terms of amplitude spectrum, group delay spectrum, frequency offset, and message circuit noise. (Author)
