Electrical and Optical Properties of Amorphous Materials

Abstract

The more significant developments in the reporting period are the following: Kramers-Kronig analysis of reflectance data has been applied to amorphous and crystalline Sb2Se3 over a wide spectral range from 0 to 35 eV; An accurate procedure has been developed for the computation of optical constants of thin films from reflectance and transmittance data; The scope of materials investigations has been enlarged to include all of the antimony chalcogenides and stoichiometric compounds of single crystal and amorphous Sb2Te3 and Sb2O3 have been prepared and are undergoing investigation. Room-temperature photoconductivity results have been completed.
