Replacement of Bronze with Wood Plastic in Slide Bearings,

Abstract

Experiments were conducted in preparation of all-pressed sleeves and bushings, and antifriction wood plastics were studied. Tests under laboratory conditions were conducted on an experimental unit. For production of all-pressed bearings the following materials were taken: DPK-30 (a pressed-wood board with up to 30 percent of phenolformaldehyde resin), DPK-30M (with 5-7 percent copper shavings added), and DPK-30G (with 5-6 percent graphite added).
