Constructing Digital-Analog Complexes for Processing Information in Network Planning and Control (PERT) Systems,

Abstract

The article contains a discussion of digital analog machines and devices for data processing SPU systems. The machines are divided into three groups on the basis of operating principles: the first group comprises various mechanical and electromechanical models of the type of accumulative designers, plotting boards, panels and other devices which combine the functions of simulation and mapping of SPU charts; the second group comprises devices in which the operation execution time is simulated by an electrical voltage; the third group comprises devices in which the operation execution time is simulated by the signal delay time in models of the operations which are joined as in the devices in the second group in accordance with the topology of the SPU chart.
