The Inheritance of Fine Structure after Recrystallization and Its Effect on the Durability of Steel,

Abstract

The inheritance of fine structure and its effect on the wear resistance after recrystallization of previously heated structures was studied using 40 Kh and 30 KhGT steels. Fine structure inheritance exists even for a prolonged heating period, and there is a linear dependence of wear on the physical width of the X-ray lines, i.e. on the dislocation density of the crystal lattice.
