Advanced Research in Guidance, Control, and Instrumentation.

Abstract

The report describes research results in orbital tests of instruments, instrument development, and guidance and control techniques, specifically: Development of experiments testing special inertial instruments in a Drag-Free Satellite--The unsupported gyroscope; Orbital tests of existing instruments; He3 nuclear gyro development; Optimal guidance concepts; Sensor design for control of aerodynamic flutter; Gravity gradiometer techniques for airborne applications research.
