Effect of an Alleviated Plasma Boundary Layer on the Transmission of High Power Microwave Signals.

Abstract

Research extending earlier studies of chemical alleviation of the reentry plasma sheath is reported in the areas of plasma sheath chemical composition, the effect of hydrogen on additive effectiveness, and the effect of additives on high power pulse transmission through the plasma sheath. (Author)
