Optimal Management of the Erythroblastotic Pregnancy.

Abstract

The report presents a mathematical model suitable for management of the erythroblastotic pregnancy. Optimal management balances the risks associated with intrauterine transfusions and early delivery against the cumulative effects of erythroblastosis. An appropriate functional equation solved using dynamic programming generates optimal management policies. (Author)
