A Numerical Integration in Parametric Sonar Research.

Abstract

Mellen and Moffett discussed model for parametric sonar radiator design with respect to both absorption and saturation limits in either the near or far field. This technical memorandum analyzes a numerical integration performed by the author from which Mellen and Moffett derived families of curves in their paper for the prediction of parametric source level efficiency versus downshift ratio and primary absorption.
