Advanced Fuel Systems for Ramjet-Powered Vehicles. Volume II. Design Data Handbook.
Abstract
A design data handbook is presented for use in analysis of advanced fuel systems for ramjet-powered vehicles using RJ-5 dense hydrocarbon fuel. Information includes fuel physical properties, materials compatibility, hydraulic data and thermal design data. Features of an RJ-5 fuel system using collapsing bladders for positive expulsion are provided. Results of experimental expulsion tests in a fuel system simulator are summarized.
