Calibrating PR 30/6 Thermocouples up to 1800C,

Abstract

A method is proposed for the calibration of thermocouples at the melting point of platinum by the small batch method. The method of calibration is described, the reproducibility of the point of platinum melting is estimated, and the data is compared with those of a standard calibration and the typical calibration of the firm Degussa and NBS.
