Hydraulic Device for Controlling the Friction Elements of Shipping Gears of Automotive Machines with Multispeed Transmissions,

Abstract

The author's certificate No. 225713 describes a hydraulic device for controlling the friction elements of gears of automotive machines, principally those of tractors. The device contains a selector mechanism with a manual control, actuating cylinders connected to the line joining them, a switching mechanism, and a hydraulic accumulator. The hydraulic accumulator is connected between the selector mechanism and actuating cylinders, and the switching mechanism is made in the form of a valve with a floating piston and channels in the housing.
