Analysis of a Multimode Propagation Concept for Predicting VLF Signal Strengths at Night.

Abstract

It is determined that vlf signal levels can be predicted by the multimode propagation concept with pronounced accuracy along a radial path for which the ionospheric parameters have been previously determined. With increasing deviation of radial bearing angle from this path, the accuracy of predictions for other propagation radials is found to decrease. (Author)
