A Comparative Analysis of Group Reinforcement Contingencies.

Abstract

The major purpose of the present study was to investigate systematically three types of group contingency management systems. The three systems to be compared are: the independent system, where individual rewarding outcomes depend upon the level of individual performance; the interdependent system, in which individual rewarding outcomes depend upon the level of group performance; and the double-reinforcement system where individual rewarding outcomes depend upon both the individual's performance, and the level of group performance.
