An Investigation into the Regulatory Control of the Surgical Facility.
Abstract
The paper presents an introduction into safety engineering aspects encompassing the hospital-medical facility, as well as, an evaluation of current state hospital codes and licensure law. Hazardous environmental conditions of the surgical facility are introduced with examination of regulatory control. The appendices contain a comprehensive compilation of standards, publications and organizations applicable to the promotion of a safe hospital environment. (Author)
