Maintainability Prediction and Allocation Procedure for the Post Office Department.
Abstract
The paper presents a maintainability analysis package for the Post Office Department which is independent of system type and is easily used in the design stage of development. The maintainability prediction and allocation techniques presented are closely related in that all procedures use the same data and view the system as a complete unit and not as a collection of independent parts. An example of each suggested method is given, along with material on the Master Standard Data System which is suggested for use in determining repair times in a prediction or allocation technique.
