Abstract
The report discusses such aspects of maintability as accessibility, controls and display, and maintenance manuals. The general sections are not geared toward a specific type of equipment but are written to apply to all types of mechanical and electrical equipment. The final chapter deals with maintainability specific with regard to electronic/optic equipment. Some of the topics discussed are packaging, circuits, components, conductors, shields, cases, handles, safety, test points, and test equipment.
