Magnetic Phase Transitions in the Presence of External Magnetic Fields.

Abstract

Measurements of some static and dynamic properties of several insulating magnetic compounds near magnetic phase transitions have led to a better understanding of the nature of such transitions. High resolution specific heat, differential susceptibility, and heat transport studies have all been used in this investigation. (Author)
