The Problem of the Dependence of Wear Resistance of Metals during Abrasive Wear on Their Physicomechanical Properties,

Abstract

The article examines the dependence of wear resistance of metals during abrasive wear on the basic physicomechanical parameters. The dependence of wear resistance and critical velocity on the same parameters during friction of metals on an abrasive surface indicates the presence of thermoelastic processes in the surface layer, influencing wear resistance.
