Abstract

The article is concerned with the industrial applications of precision electron-beam welding. The factors which are critical to the production of a high quality, reproducible welded joint are discussed. The basic equipment used in precision electronbeam welding and the many possible applications of joints welded by electric beams are described. (Author)
