X-Ray Study of the Thermal Expansion of Nickel-Chromium Alloys,

Abstract

The peculiar features in the thermal expansion of the alloys being studied can be judged from the change in the crystal lattice parameter of the alloys with temperature. This is of interest in connection with the total number of peculiar features and anomalies in the temperature changes of such important characteristics as electrical resistance, heat capacity, and others. The purpose of this work is to present some experimental data obtained during X-ray study of the crystal lattice of nickel-chromium alloys at high temperatures. (Author)
