A Visual Ocean Bottom Survey off the Island of Santa Maria, Azores,

Abstract

In August 1968, three seamounts in the waters west of Santa Maria were examined visually by means of the deep submersible ALVIN and the bottom close inshore was examined by scuba divers. The results are given. (Author)
