A Study of Magnetic Transition Properties in the CoS(2-x)Se(x) Familu using Pyromagnetic Detection Method.

Abstract

Two different kinds of the pyromagnetometer are built to study the pyromagnetic transition properties of the CoS(2-x)Se(x) family. Data, such as angular dependence, composition dependence, incident radiation intensity dependence, and external magnetic bias field dependence of the pyromagnetic response of this series, are obtained. The results on CoS(2-x)Se(x) are compared with those on Gd which is presently the most promising material for pyromagnetic radiation detection. (Author)
