An Investigation of the Effects of Combined Temperature and Illumination on a Manual Dexterity Task.

Abstract

The paper describes an investigation which attempts to determine if the combination of low illumination and low temperature have an effect on human manual dexterity. An experiment was designed which utilized an environmental chamber and the Purdue Pegboard dexterity test. The results indicated no presence of an interaction effect between the two positions.
