X-Rays from Fission

Abstract

The main effort during this part of the contract has been to analyze and write-up the research work performed concerning spontaneous fission of 252Cf. This work involved (X-ray, X-ray) coincidence measurements, (X-ray, gamma-ray) coincidence measurements, (gamma-ray, gamma-ray) coincidence measurements, and the setting up of a fission fragment time-of-flight experiment for determining fission mass yields.
