Geometric Design of Military Roads in the Theater of Operations (Interim Procedure)

Abstract

The instruction report presents a procedure for rapid and definitive geometric design and evaluation of military roads in the Theater of Operations. Step-by-step procedures are presented for the design or evaluation of a facility based on the number of vehicles in the using unit or units or on the number of tons handled daily by the using activity, thus eliminating field counts or estimates.
