Density of Sandy Ground (O Fizicheskikh Osnovakh Plotnosti Peschanykh Gruntov),
Abstract
At the contemporary stage in the development of construction technology, with the disappearance of seasonal interruptions in construction projects, the necessity is arising more and more often of estimating the degree of friability and settling tendency of frozen sandy soils in excavations. The procedure discussed in the report permits one to accomplish such an estimation.
