Basic Hand Tools Training for Group IV Personnel.

Abstract

As part of a larger program to determine which Navy skills can be learned by lower aptitude personnel and to ascertain what methods are most effective for accomplishing such training, an experimental course in basic hand tools was administered to 133 Mental Group 4 students in 9 classes. Research data were obtained by means of questionnaires and both paper-and-pencil and performance tests. Conclusions regarding the training of Group 4 personnel and presented. (Author)
