Abstract

At the Symposium on the Effects of Pressure on Organisms, held in Bangor, Wales on 6-10 September 1971, effects of high pressure on physiocochemical systems and on a wide variety of plant and animal forms were discussed as well as anatomical and physiological adaptations of living forms to pressure and submersion.
