Basic Research in Thermionic Energy Conversion.

Abstract

The report presents the results of the past year's work in a program to investigate basic process in thermionic diodes which are important to the realization of practical thermionic energy conversion. The subjects discussed are cesium and cesium-oxygen adsorption on refractory metals, and includes a computer program for calculating thermionic converter I-V characteristics. (Author)
