Abstract

The report describes a method for evaluation of shop equipment operational and functional performance characteristics. It identifies supporting test, facilities, and equipment required. It provides procedures for functional performance tests. It is applicable to wood working and metal repair equipment such as cutters, shears, drilling machines, grinding machines, lathes, milling machines, sanders, and sawing machines, but not applicable to sophisticated, unique, and specialized equipment assigned to depot repair organizations.
