Gas Ejectors,

Abstract

A gas ejector is described which has a wide control range, a multibarrel nozzle assembly, a mixing chamber with adapter for the ejected flow, and a diffuser. Each nozzle is provided with a shaped deflector which bears against a spring. If no pressure is acting in the nozzles, the deflector ensures complete opening of nozzles, and this is kept till a certain minimum pressure is attained. Increase of pressure tends to draw back the deflectors and the nozzles are gradually closed. Sequence of closing is selected by calibrated springs.
