Electro-Optic Properties and Modulator Applications of Cadmium Telluride.

Abstract

Cadmium telluride is a valuable material for CO2 laser modulators because of its superior electro-optic characteristics and its low optical absorption coefficient in the infrared. In addition to data on these properties, this report provides physical, mechanical, crystallographic, thermal and relevant optical data. Thirty-two references and thirty-eight citations and informative abstracts are provided. (Author)
